The Leadership Program
As part of our initiatives we invited Dr. Alveda King Jr. the niece of Martin Luther King to launch our Leadership Program. We brough Dr. King to our community during Martin Luther King week. She spoke to the students of Sacred Heart K-12 in Greenwich, CT on the topic of race relations and women’s rights.
Parents were able to have an intimate “living room style’ conversation with Dr. King who specially focused on present day topics, including her opposition to Critical Race Theory and her support for women in sports.
